Author Guidelines

Oceanica: Jurnal Riset Kelautan dan Perikanan accepts relevant manuscripts following the following guidelines for proper processing.

  1. Authors should prepare the manuscript using the Monetize template
  2. Researchers register through the link https://jurnal.itkpi.ac.id/index.php/oceanica then send or submit through the system
  3. The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  4. Manuscripts must be original, have never been published, and are not in process in other journals.
  5. All submitted manuscripts will be reviewed by experts in the field by considering originality, clarity of presentation, and significance to science.
  6. Articles can be written in Indonesian or English with standardized and clear language.
  7. All manuscripts will go through a double-blind peer review process before being accepted for publication.
  8. Authors must comply with publication ethics, including avoiding plagiarism (maximum 20% similarity check).
  9. As a commitment to rapid publication, the editors make every effort to complete the review process within eight weeks. If the author does not receive notification after that period, please send an email to the editor
